§ 10-76. Nuisance.

  • (a)

    Any person may file a complaint with the Lafayette Animal Care Center stipulating a specific animal problem.

    (b)

    A nuisance animal shall be an animal that causes any unhealthy condition, interferes with the normal use and enjoyment of human or animal life of others, or interferes with the normal use and enjoyment of any public property or property of others. An animal determined to be a nuisance shall be impounded in accordance with section 10-101. A nuisance animal not reclaimed adopted, transferred, or rehomed may be humanely euthanized.
