§ 26-542. Appeals.

(a)

Appeals of any decision by the board of zoning adjustment pursuant to the provisions of subsections 26-534(1) and (3) respectively shall be made only to the Fifteenth Judicial District Court of the State of Louisiana. Such appeals shall be filed in writing with the court on or before 30 days of the date the decision being appealed was rendered by the board of zoning adjustment.

(b)

Appeals of any decision of the PZC hearing examiner pursuant to the provisions of subsections 25-534(1) and (3) respectively shall be made to the Lafayette Planning Commission (the "planning commission"). Such appeal to the planning commission shall be filed in writing with the planning commission on or before 30 days of the date the decision being appealed was rendered by the PZC hearing examiner. Appeals of any decision of the planning commission shall be made to the Lafayette Consolidated City-Parish Council (the "council"). Such appeal to the council shall be filed in writing with the council on or before 30 days of the date the decision being appealed was rendered by the planning commission. Appeals from the decision of the council shall be filed with the Fifteenth Judicial District Court of the State of Louisiana. Such appeal to the court shall be filed in writing with the court on or before 30 days of the date the decision being appealed was rendered by the council.
