§ 26-487. Renewal of registration.

(a)

Renewal of registration under this subdivision will be required and shall become due on January 1 of each year and shall become delinquent as of February 28 of the same year. All delinquent renewal registrations shall be charged a 45 percent penalty.

(b)

Fees for renewal of registration are as follows:

(1)

Master plumber ..... $50.00

(2)

Master gas pipe fitter ..... 25.00

(3)

Cottage license ..... 50.00

(c)

Where the applicant for renewal has not performed work during the previous 12 months, he shall be reexamined.

(d)

Where an applicant has maintained a license in good standing and has paid required fees when due and where extenuating circumstances require the applicant to accept a hiatus for 12 consecutive months, the applicant may be granted a renewal certificate without being reexamined at the discretion of the department.
