§ 42-1. State sanitary code adopted (City of Lafayette).

  • (a)

    This section applies only in the city.

    (b)

    There is hereby adopted, for the purpose of protecting and preserving the public health, that a certain code known as the "Sanitary Code, State of Louisiana," prepared and promulgated by the state board of health, as amended by such board. The sanitary code shall be and is declared an ordinance of the city-parish consolidated government, and violations thereof shall be punished as provided in section 1-9.
