§ 60-3. Citation.

(a)

Whenever any evidence is presented to the director indicating that a premises has engaged in the maintenance of a nuisance, the director shall investigate the records of the appropriate law enforcement agency or LCPG department.

(b)

If this investigation shows that the premises more likely than not has engaged in the maintenance of a nuisance, the director, after obtaining approval from the appropriate LCPG department head, shall be authorized to coordinate efforts with the appropriate law enforcement agency, and, in conjunction therewith, shall be entitled with said law enforcement agency to issue a citation for any violation of this chapter.

(c)

It shall not be considered a defense that the director did not conduct an investigation or that it was conducted inappropriately or inadequately.
