§ 62-67. Simple battery.

  • (a)

    Defined. Simple battery is the intentional use of force or violence upon the person of another, without the consent of the victim, committed without a dangerous weapon.

    (b)

    Whoever commits a simple battery shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
