§ 78-298. Design of construction projects.

  • (a)

    It shall be the policy of the city-parish consolidated government, to the extent allowed by public safety and convenience and economic considerations, to design major construction projects with regard to minimizing damage to and loss of trees and shrubbery.

    (b)

    The inclusion of tree planting and other landscape factors will be given consideration in the design of major construction projects by the city-parish consolidated government, to the extent possible under the prevailing economic situation.
