§ 86-26. Failure to register vehicle.

(a)

No person shall operate, or permit to be operated, any motor vehicle upon the streets unless it is registered with the office of motor vehicles, the license tax is paid thereon, and it is operated in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and other laws of the state.

(b)

Whoever violates the provisions of this section shall be fined not more than $100.00 or imprisoned for not more than 30 days, or both.
