§ 86-27. Carry registration.

(a)

The registration certificate issued for a vehicle, or a copy thereof, shall be carried at all times while the vehicle is being operated upon a street.

(b)

Registration certificates must, at all times and under all conditions, correspond with the license plates being used upon the vehicle.

(c)

Whoever violates the provisions of this section shall be fined not more than $100.00 or imprisoned for not more than 30 days, or both.
