§ 86-71. Truck routes to be posted.

The director shall cause each truck route or alternate truck route upon which truck traffic is designated for travel to be clearly posted advising motorists of the designated truck route.

Truck routes. The director shall recommend truck routes and such routes shall be adopted by resolution of the city-parish council. The director shall prepare, keep and maintain an accurate list designating truck routes. The listing shall be kept on file for public inspection in the office of the director.

(2)

Alternate truck routes. When a street designated as a truck route is under repair or otherwise temporarily out of use, the director is authorized to designate alternate truck routes.
