§ 94-8. Damage or tampering with equipment or facilities.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any user of electric current, telecommunications service, water or sewer service under a contract provided for in this chapter, or any other person, to interfere with any meter or meter seal or to change, remove, disconnect or otherwise interfere with any equipment, materials, wires, poles, lamps, pipes or contrivances belonging to the system.

    (b)

    No person may in any manner injure, mutilate, destroy, remove, disconnect or in any way interfere or tamper with any of the machinery, poles, wires, lamps, pipes, contrivances, meters or other appliances belonging to or in any manner connected with the electric, telecommunications, water or sewage plants and facilities of the system.
