Where the load is greater than 100 kva for new installations, the electrical service
customer shall furnish a pad or aboveground vault for the installation of pad-mounted
transformers.
(b)
Current transformers for metering may be located in pad-mounted transformers, only
in three-phase transformers, and only one set of current transformers shall be allowed.
Current transformers located in the pad-mounted three-phase transformers are further
limited to applications where the pad-mounted transformer is intended to serve only
one customer.
