§ 94-522. Building sewer permit.

Latest version.
  • There shall be two classes of building sewer permits: (1) for residential and commercial service, and (2) for service to establishments producing industrial wastes. For Class 2, the owner or his agent shall make application on a special form furnished by the city-parish consolidated government's wastewater operations manager. The permit application shall be supplemented by any plans, specifications, or any other information considered pertinent in the sole judgment of the wastewater operations manager. An inspection fee for Class 1 and 2 establishments shall be collected by the proper regulatory agency.

It is to be noted that these two classes of permit are connection permits that are required by all connectors to the city-parish consolidated government's collection system. This connection permit is not to be confused with the industrial waste permit described in division 7, section 94-591. Certain Class 2 connection permittees shall also be required to obtain an industrial waste permit as described therein.
