§ 4-12. Community Development Department.

A.

The director of the community development department shall direct and be responsible for:

(1)

Developing a program of economic development in the parish.

(2)

Promoting trade with foreign countries and businesses in the parish.

(3)

Cooperating with the state and other governments in the development and implementation of economic development, housing and human services programs.

(4)

Cultural activities and facilities.

(5)

Preparation of all intergovernmental grant applications on behalf of the City-Parish Government and informing departments, offices and agencies of all relevant local, state and federal programs.

(6)

Other such activities as may be directed by the President.
